About Us

Some people see a problem and look away. Others roll up their sleeves and decide to change it.  Lyndsy Cushman chose the second path.

Seeing the struggles veterans face—especially finding safe, affordable housing—Lyndsy couldn’t stand by. She knew that our heroes deserve more than gratitude; they deserve a place to call home, a community that has their back, and a future they can look forward to.

With that belief, Trusthouse was born.

Under Lyndsy’s leadership, our goal is bold: Build affordable housing units in Manchester, NH and  Southport, NC—each one a symbol of stability, dignity, and hope for veterans and their families.

Her vision isn’t just about walls and roofs—it’s about restoring pride, rebuilding lives, and proving that community is something we create together.
