About Community
The Trusthouse community is about more than housing — it is about restoring stability, dignity, and a sense of belonging for veterans who have given so much in service to others.
Our flagship, located on approximately 20 acres in Brunswick County, North Carolina, will include up to 90 affordable tiny homes, each providing a private, safe place to call home within a shared village built on connection and support.
By combining personal independence with access to essential services and a caring community, Trusthouse creates a foundation for healing and long-term well-being — at each veteran’s own pace.

A Community Built on Purpose
Trusthouse is built on the belief that veterans are not just residents—they are valued members of a community.
Members will be encouraged to contribute in meaningful, voluntary ways aligned with their abilities and stage of recovery, such as assisting at the grocery store, maintaining shared spaces, or supporting community activities.
This approach fosters routine, purpose, and connection while reinforcing dignity and self-worth. Participation is always respectful, flexible, and never mandatory.
Designed for Long-Term Stability
The Trusthouse community model is built for sustainability. By combining affordable housing, on-site services, and a supportive environment, Trusthouse creates a place where veterans can stabilize, heal, and move forward—at their own pace and on their own terms.

For Veterans
Trusthouse is being designed as a place where veterans can live with dignity, privacy, and access to supportive services within a respectful community environment. As the Trusthouse community develops, more information will be shared about residency, services, and how veterans may connect with Trusthouse in the future.
We are grateful for your service and committed to building a community that honors it.
